Shawn Matyczuk
Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy and Massage
Welcome to a Day at the Beach at Ocean Tides Health Collective.
My name is Shawn and I’ve been providing Massage and Craniosacral Therapy since 2001.
In my practice I’ve supported people through all stages of life; children to 105 years old. I’ve done this through being a Nurse, Registered Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist and Massage Therapy with a Cranial Osteopathy approach. I’m so grateful for my experiences and how they have helped shape my journey.
Treatments are intended to address the whole body, to increase vitality; in other words, to maximize the body's ability to be healthy and heal from trauma or illness. Working towards freeing restrictions within joints and muscles, thereby assisting with better posture and mobility. Treatment helps to remove any restrictions or blockages to the flow of blood, lymph or nerve. It is the increase in flow, that aides the body’s tissues receiving nutrition and oxygen, and the increase in drainage and removal of waste, which increases the vitality, the health, of the body. This, in turn, gives the body reserves of energy and building blocks for repair when needed, and further, improves immune function and response for the prevention of disease in general.

David Laurin
Osteopathy and Athletic Therapy
I combine my training in osteopathy and athletic therapy to provide an integrated approach to treatment. With an open heart, I use mostly a manual approach to treatment -- meaning I use my hands to realign your body according to the principles of osteopathy. This may include joint mobilization, visceral manipulation, cranial osteopathy or myofascial release.
With the intention of providing long term health and wellness I usually send people home with homework to do. Your homework may include: exercises, relaxation routines, awareness practices such as meditation or postural correction, as well as consulting with other practitioners to address mental health, nutritional issues, etc.

Sarah Hofing
Sarah Hofing is a life coach and intuitive healer. With a degree in Psychology she entered the health and fitness industry and realized that there is so much more than just nutrition and exercise. Our minds, past behaviour and generational trauma plays a huge role in the person you are today and who you become. In digging deep into these elements, we can rewire our brain pathways and move forward with confidence. We all hold the power to heal.
Sarah created programs like the spiritual mentorship program based on what she needed when she was going through transitions in life; like learning to create boundaries, recognizing an unhealthy relationship with alcohol and the emotional triggers that can lead to overeating. Nobody is self made. Only when we are ready to ask for help can we truly find our power and reach our true potential.
An intuitive by nature, Sarah is open to the spiritual realm and often gets messages from loved ones who have passed. With her certification in Reiki, Sarah can improve the flow and balance of energy in the body to promote healing. She is also trained to go into the Akashic records and view our past lives and heal them. By incorporating intuitive readings, Reiki and gaining access to our Akashic records, Sarah takes a more holistic approach when healing the mind, body and spirit.
Living the life that she manifested, Sarah is a Mum of three kids and married to the love of her life. Life is an adventure and allowing others to tune in and discover their true potential is Sarah's life mission.

Olya Dzidzverg
Olya (Olga) is a Registered Acupuncturist in Victoria, BC. Olya is dedicated to help patients to control physical and emotional pain holistically. Her personal story provides insight into why she has chosen this path and, hopefully, this will help to establish initial trust between patient and practitioner.
Throughout her childhood Olya soaked up the importance of hard science. She graduated from high school and University with honors and enjoyed a successful 20-year career in business.
However, after the birth of her second son, she faced a serious illness. The pain was always with her. She woke up with pain and went to bed with it. Seven years of endless checkups in hospitals, hopelessness, and desperation. She tried lots of options to cure herself in Europe and North America. The painkiller intake gradually increased. She was nearly without hope when she tried acupuncture. After the very first treatment, she felt a slight relief. It was a huge surprise. It was against every law of science that she was taught. Eventually, acupuncture was the only treatment that proved effective for her and completely resolved her pain.
The transformative impact of acupuncture motivated her so greatly that she shifted her career to introduce the healing power of Chinese Medicine to the community. Olya graduated from Pacific Rim College in Victoria, BC with a diploma in acupuncture and continues her studies to become a doctor of Chinese Medicine. Olya believes that Chinese Medicine has a sound logic based on more than 3000 years of its history. Olya can apply gentle distant acupuncture or a vigorous orthopedic approach. Her areas of practice encompass pain management, digestive issues, women's health, and emotional trauma support. Additionally, she has studied Ayurveda, Holistic Nutrition, and Yoga Therapy.
Olya has travelled extensively around the world and has accumulated different tools that can help to control pain. She favourite saying is, “Sometimes, a very complicated problem can have a very simple and elegant resolution.”
Olya firmly believes that regular acupuncture sessions, along with adjustments in diet, lifestyle, and exercise, can lead to significant positive transformations in the body, regardless of age.
